Vinification and éageing: The grapes macerated for 12 hours before a very soft and slow pressing. The wine was aged on fine lees in stainless steel vats for 8 months.

Terroir: Clayey-calcareous-sandstone soil on the Niederer Spiegel plot which is located between the two Grand Crus, Spiegel and Saering.
